Ingredients
Yields 6 servings
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1 ¾ cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking dish.

In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, mix oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Pour wet mixture into dry and stir until combined. Fold in half the chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the baking dish and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.

Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the center is just set.
